SMK Raja Mahadi in Klang, Selangor, has been praised for including the Tamil language and Tamil Literature subjects in the regular class schedule for students taking these subjects in the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia examination, Malaysia Nanban reported.

The school’s parent-teacher association chairman identified as Datuk Theebakaran said the secondary school is known to have among the highest number of Malaysian-Indian students taking the two subjects.

Including these subjects in the regular class schedule instead of offering them as extra classes would greatly benefit these students, he said.
